This photo was taken under near-perfect conditions on Caswell Bay, Wales, in August 2026, with the ideal combination of clear skies, low tides, and no moon in the night sky – the stars quite literally aligning to capture this shot of the night sky's milky hues in between the boulders and rocks of the beach below, a beach that is no doubt one of my favourites in the whole world!
